bedugul, a famous place located in one of the highland in bali

nama yang sangat identik dengan suhu yang sangat dingin, jalan berliku dan menanjak menuju tempat indah ini, sering diselimuti kabut membuat pengendara harus ekstra hati-hati.

perkebunan buah (terutama strawberry), sayur dan tanaman hias adalah pemandangan yang akan selalu didapat.

walaupun di dataran tinggi namun ada beberapa danau, tidak peduli dengan dinginnya udara banyak pengunjung yang bermain watersport yang tersedia seperti jetski, canoe, dsb...

kalau kita mah cukup nonton aja... dingin bo...

yang paling exciting tentunya bang alfath, sebagai penggemar strawberry, dah gak tahan lagi untuk mencicipi buah ini... emang menggiurkan kok

sayangnya kami gak cukup persiapan dan juga karena kami masih terlalu baru di bali (baru seminggu), jadi perjalanan ini sepertinya ucapan selamat datang buat kami.

kami hanya sempet beli strawberry, mo beli banyak takut busuk, lah wong waktu itu kami belon punya kulkas... padahal pengen juga loh beli tanaman hias untuk di kontrakan kami, bagus-bagus dan harga lebih murah. rencana kami kalo nanti maen kesini lagi, pasti kami akan lebih better preparation, dan juga kalo sempet maen ke kebun raya-nya, kami mo ikutan main outdoor adventure nya yang terkenal dengan nama tree top, banyak challenge yang mendidik. bang alfath ma dek thifa juga biar belajar berani... ok?

keseharian

dah dua bulan kami di bali... tak terasa yah... keseharian bang alfath ma dek thifa masih tetep bikin bunda sering gak bisa ngapa-ngapain. bang alfath masih sering rewel, adek nya mo bobok dianya teriak-teriak, film kartun habis dia nangis... mungkin karena bang alfath belon masuk sekolah, jadi hari-harinya masih agak membosankan. ya gimana mo sekolah, bunda belon bisa ngantarin bang alfath sambil nggendong dek thifa, dan lagi juga belon punya motor, pergerakan masih agak susah jadinya. sabar ya bang, mungkin kita masukin abang sekolah mulai taon ajaran berikutnya, insya allah kita dah punya motor dan juga bunda dah bisa nganterin...

now we are in bali...

on august 4, 2007 evening at around1915hrs (bali time) we landed at ngurah rai airport of denpasar - bali... first step on bali for all four of us, dek thifa was so exciting, bang alfath not less than that, event on the plane both of them were sleeping very well... the flight toke almost two hours, made them slept away. event ayah and bunda also fallen asleep but not really fallen. this caused them headache. :( reached at airport, representative from westin already waiting for us, he drove us to westin since we had not got any house to stay for... four nights stay in the westin resort nusa dua bali, we moved to our leased house that we got helped by oom yusep and oom heri chandra. far away different, after staying in five star property we stay in 'kontrakan'...hehehe but this is the starter of the new life, hopes everything will goes better

ayah's last day of work in lagoi-bintan

today... sunday, july 29, 2007 is the last day of work for ayah at bintan lagoon resort. actually by october 29, 2007 is the last status as blr's employee, but since still have outstanding leave need to be cleared, by July 30 start to take leave. it has been in total of 12 years for ayah work and stay in bintan. since october 1995 when ayah aged at 20 he started as an employee at banyan tree bintan, then by 1997 moved to sol elite bintan which later rebranded to nirwana gardens resort and finally by september 2002 moved to bintan lagoon resort. planned by july 31 depart to padang, and by august 4 will fly to bali since by 6 will have to start working. all of us (ayah, bunda, bang alfath & dek thifa) going together. bang alfath had not scholing anymore since by july 16 that supposed to be his first day to school, because we will move, so better if bang alfath start scholing later in bali. we pray to Alloh that our movement to bali will make us better in everything... amin

the very first b'day of aathifa

four days ago was the dek thifa's first birthday, it was on july 25, 2007.

we did not made any celebration, but few of our friends in dormitory wanted to cook some food for us, so we combined two event in to one, the brithday and the farewell. since four of us going to move to bali. ayah got a job there that hopefully will be a starter of new better life for our family...

so ayah ordered a cake to marked the birthday plus the foods that cooked by our friends and we got our friends to spread the news to come over on the mentioned day, just a small gathering we though at the first. but until night... more and more coming by, then we realize that we are famous enough, hehehe :)

the program (if we may call it) started after maghrib, after opening by tante tia (our "setangga" at housing) and little speech by ayah on the purpose, we sang the song for dek thifa, blow the candle helped by bunda and bang alfath and cut the cake, the first slice went to... dek thifa herself. then we enjoyed the food prepared.

most of the attendee at the beginning were the friends of bunda, as ayah's friends mostly arrived a bit later of the night, and some of them are the friends of both of them.

the one that not really well was bang alfath, he was not in good health, he had got fever for three days already. but he still played with all of his friends. most of the guests brought their kids aged around as bang alfath.

until almost midnight, most of the guest had left, only some of ayah's friends at work still around, dek thifa had slept and bang alfath not yet, but he just lying did not want to be touched by anyone, or even move inside the room where dek galang and dek rahma were sleeping.

overall, we might say that it was a great success... and quiet memorable for the first b'day of dek thifa... we could only wish dek thifa all the best in her life and Allah alwasy guide her for the good.

and we wishes that our movement to bali will be as a good starter to begin with... amin

tari piring & tumpeng

Bunda took part in the Kartini Day celebration by performing of Tari Piring together with some of the mothers of the students and school teacher, on the evening of April 21, 2007.

On the day there was a Nasi Tumpeng Making competition, a group consist of 3 persons, and the group of Bunda won the first place....

on April 21, 2007 there was a Kartini Day celebration organized by the school - Tunas Bangsa, Bang Alfath was joining the event. One day before he joined the convoy or we called "karnaval". Bang Alfath said "kinoval" influence by the name of a car brand... inova hehehe. He wore a navy costum and rode his very own remote car controlled by Bunda.

On the evening there was a competition such as fashion show in tradtional costum. Bang Alfath was wearing Sundanese costum, but when his name called to the stage (he was the first contestant) he did not want to go up, finally Bunda led him up to the center of the stage and left him there. Bang Alfath did not make any movement only staring to the audience. Yah... that was his first experience doing performance... next occasion Bang Alfath will do differently...

tingkah polah

... lagi ... adegan ke-akuran abang dan adek... tapi jangan tanya kalo lagi kumat, si abang gak mau adeknya ngedekat, jangankan ngedekat, diliatin ama adeknya aja si abang dah marah. kalo pas lagi kumat, bunda sampe gak bisa ngapa-ngapain, sampe ayah pulang kerja dimalam harinya, bunda belon mandi, belon makan, belon beres-beres... lah wong gak boleh ngapa-ngapain? kalo si abang dah marahin si adek, yang ada malah si adek ketawa-ketawa; mungkin si adek mikir lagi diajak maen ma si abang. tapi makin kenceng si adek ketawa, semakin kenceng juga si abang marah... wiih sampai suara si abang kayak mo habis.

tapi walaupun sering kena marah, kalo si adek di godain ato mo digendong ma orang yang si abang gak pernah jumpa, pasti si abang akan segera berteriak ngelarang, kalo masih digodain terus, si abang akan teriak dengan sedikit tangisan... protective yah si abang ini
